RESEARCH INSTITUTE ON SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT

The RESIS Institute for Social Development Research presented the Civil Society Organizations Day research projects and activities to strengthen the communication capacities of the Assembly of Northern Macedonia and the State Audit Office, implemented under the auspices of the Westminster Foundation for Democracy.

In both projects, RESIS assessed the internal and external communications of these institutions. The State Audit Office's capacity building project additionally involves the preparation of a process-oriented communication strategy designed to open this institution to different audiences and the practical application of the communication strategy, which also involves the restructuring of internal communication between the various departments within the supreme audit institution.

These two projects are part of the strategic objective of RESIS to contribute to the operationalization of business processes in public institutions and to provide institutional development through a deeper understanding of communication practices and the strengthening of communication processes.

The projects were funded by the British Embassy in the country and the Westminster Foundation for Democracy. The RESIS Institute is a grantee of the CIVICA Mobilitas program.
